I came across Sahaja Meditation 20 years ago while I was in medical school. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for in meditation and was amazed by how Sahaja Meditation complemented my training. It helped me understand the way imbalances in our inner being can progress into illness. And that, achieving a state of balance within is necessary to heal from inside and achieve optimal physical and mental health.
On a personal note, meditation has helped me become more confident and creative, and has freed me from guilt and limiting beliefs I was holding on to.
I think everyone should try it!

I've been practicing Sahaj Yoga Meditation for some years now and the benefit it has provided me and my family has been immense. By meditating daily (twice) I can feel the peace within which I'm able to express externally; hence allowing myself to lead a more balanced life. The simple techniques this meditation entails makes it easy to practice be it home, work or just being outdoors in the nature. Given its simplicity and the benefits one can reap from it, people from all ages, social and ethnic backgrounds practice by attending weekly online classes (Beginners & Intermediate). I would highly recommend Sahaja Yoga Meditation!

Sahaja Yoga is a meditation practice that helps enter a state of balance. As a professor, I have found that regular meditation helps me maintain a healthy mental, emotional, and physical state. The simplicity of the technique allows anybody to practice this style of meditation and make it into their own journey.

Even when I was an undergraduate student, I had found that it helped me with my focus in school without tiring me out.

The people practicing the meditation technique are very supportive and collective. They organize activities together and strengthen each other’s meditations. An example is seen in the attached photo (taken at the City of Lafayette before the pandemic).

Since the foundation of the technique is on an energy that is within every human being, the practice is completely free of cost. The organization is run by volunteers who aim to share the meditation practice with others so that others can enjoy just like them.

And just 2 years ago, I came across Sahaja yoga Meditation, I found my self realization, union or connection with my true self, my spirit. Ever since then, I’ve been practicing this beautiful, easy and natural form of meditation. It just takes a few mins in the morning and a few mins in the evening, and I feel the balance in each and every role I play, as a mother, wife, daughter and as a working women. I feel blessed to have got this ray of divine light in the middle of all the darkness.

I have been exploring spirituality from early childhood, thus I read various books and tried many techniques of meditation in pursuit of an experience an actualization or realization that would quench my seeking, seeking to find answers to deeper questions of life, to derive a sense of meaning and purpose amidst all chaos and confusion, to discover inner peace and joy which is unwavering while going through stresses of life, to know more about myself in a way which is verifiable, repeatable and rigorous in scientific sense and not another mental envelope. I can say for sure that all of this I was able to find and continue to discover deeper depths of via the experience of Sahaja Yoga Meditation. I am glad that I came across it few years back. Try it out! classes are always free, but free doesn't mean it has some catch to it or it lacks quality. Some of the most important things in life are free, like air we breathe, I understand after experiencing it that it's value is beyond any that money can buy, it is pure love! yep such a thing does exist if it didn't we won't be looking for it.
