I know how these words will sound, so I hope you will believe that I am being completely honest. Sheri changed my life. While visiting my bff in Istanbul, she happened to have an appointment for sound therapy and asked if I wanted to have a session as well. I am so glad that I said yes. When compared to years of experience with therapy, though, “session” is too inadequate, too clinical and disconnected for the in depth, personal conversations in which Sheri radiates genuine care, welcome, and interest. It is like reuniting with someone who cares deeply for you and from whom you have been apart for some time. She never talks at me or provide her analysis of what I share. She simply asks questions - oftentimes giving me pause because they are not anything I ever considered asking myself either at all or in relation to the topic at hand. Her easy, nonintrusive, nonjudgemental curiosity allows me to discover myself, my stumbling blocks, my blind spots, my wisdom, and—ultimately—my peace. I have never been able to meditate because it always turned into a daydream or going over my too-long to-do list or falling asleep. As we moved through the sound portion of our time together, her instructions were more clear and made more sense to my mind than any other guidelines have before. I have been able to maintain a meditation routine that keeps me feeling grounded and centered, and any time things start to feel out of sorts (which definitely happens in my AuDHD life), I usually realize that I haven’t meditated in awhile. Also, even though I am back in the US, Sheri always makes herself available for a virtual chat that leaves me feeling as renewed as our conversation in her beautiful, calming, and safe space in Istanbul.

Through sound, taste, wisdom and humour - Sheri embodies the qualities of a genuine teacher, healer and a dear friend. Her journey to where she is now is truly inspiring and I have deep respect on how she has blossomed away from home.

The space she holds and hosts in one of the busiest areas of Kadıköy is transformed into a temple of healing, transformation and learning. And no doubt, a space for laughter and that continuous supply of soul enriching foods. I am so grateful for Tashi to have introduced us over a year ago and finally being able to go to Istanbul to do the Sound Healing course with Sheri. Can't imagine the experiences we had in Istanbul without your presence, knowledge and guidance.

I first came to Naad in search of relaxation after a friend of mine recommended that I try a ‘gong bath’ to help relieve stress. What I found here is so much more than mere relaxation. I have had several sound therapy sessions with Sheri and each one feels like an essential segment on my path to healing, happiness, and deeper self-awareness. It’s hard to explain the experience to others because the sessions are customized to the individual needs each of us present, and that can even change day by day. I have had a combination of a talk session where Sheri tries to assess my current needs followed by a sound bath which addresses the issues raised during the talk. I have recommended many friends try a session and I recommend the same to anyone looking to be seen and heard, or to just simply see, hear, and FEEL. I guarantee that at minimum you will find relaxation and you might just find yourself as well. Eternal thanks to Sheri for using their energy to energize the rest of us. ❤️

I can begin to describe how much Sheri has truly changed my everyday life, my perspective and how I feel about myself. Personally, I have been in a position which required me to grow up at an incredible pace, very early on in my life, which affected me as a young adult. Visiting Sheri in Istanbul and continuing to speak over zoom, since leaving the city, has honestly been life-changing.

if you are lucky enough to cross your path with Sheri, i am really happy for you. i have attended Sheri's sound healing class and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. she is not teaching only about sound healing but everything about life and anything you need. You can be sure of that she will add so much value in your life. To me, she is the embodiment of the mother earth energy and a true inspiration just by the way she lives. She is a great teacher and friend and i will follow her anywhere she goes as long as she lets me 🙂
