I love a hole in the wall as much as the next girl. Usually, I have my best meals at these establishments. Here the food was okay. The service was better, and the atmosphere was nice. Try the dolmas and fried cabbage. I'll go back to try more food options. It's definitely worth a round two.

I ordered the beef kebab plate, which was made to order. I also ordered a kebab wrap and tried the different types of baklava. All the items tasted fresh, I think the meat was a bit under spiced other than that all the items tasted fresh.

The service at Lazeez Cafe is attentive and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and eager to recommend dishes based on your preferences. Our server was prompt with our orders and checked in on us just the right amount, ensuring our dining experience was seamless.

Call it nitpicking but this is how my experience went.

I knew something was wrong the minute I got some soda from the soda dispenser. I got some Coke, and it tasted off, switched to Dr Pepper and it tasted slightly off but not as bad as the first time around.
The best way to describe it, it's like the nozzle hasn't been cleaned properly. It definitely upset my stomach a bit and i haven't even touched the food yet

Got the chicken and gyro mix.
Everything was actually pretty good, but the chicken is a little dry and the pita bread they give you was very hard like day old bread when it should be soft enough.

These are just simple fixes that can be doable.
Would I go back? Honestly yeah if I'm in the area again. I'd just get something with gyro instead.

Good place to stop in for a tasty and fast lunch. Excellent sevice. The gyro player was solid. You get your food in a take out container if you eat in, I think a plate would have been better.

This is a straightforward, no-frills, Mediterranean (Syrian) restaurant, with a focus on gyro and gyro plates.

The menu reflects this simplicity and directness, as does the interior.

The food is pretty great, especially since they have managed to balance the sauce, meat, vegetables and pita such that it is not greasy, the sauce is not runny, the vegetables are fresh and the meat remains moist.

The feta cheese sauce in the gyro is a little heavy and lands more on the "cheese" side.

The service is behind the counter and friendly - but that is all, as the customer is expected to do the rest.

In fact - therein lies the main weakness of this establishment: it FEELS like a direct descendant of a food truck - replete with a food truck service experience.

Food was flavorful but a little dry. Enjoyed everything we had though. Kebabs and gyros were straight forward, Greek salad was big.
