This office is way over charging insurance for basic services and when they don't cover it, it comes back to bite the patient. For over 6 months I have been trying to coordinate with members of his office, including the office manager, June. They have hung up on me, I have recorded calls of them screaming at me because they are refusing to help with the bill. When I call the office they tell me I have to talk to quest, when I talk to quest they tell me I need to talk to the office because they are the ones that code the procedures. Simply by the way the people in this office have handled this is astounding to me that they can get away with this. I will be sure to report them to the proper departments. There is a no surprise bills act in Florida and not once did they tell me about any of the $1000+ I would have to pay out of pocket because they charged way more then that and my (Bluecross) insurance is seeing through their scam. Was told my insurance covered everything before the procedure by the front desk, the girl explained to me they check with insurance prior to anything. But now look 6 months and still $800 in bills for a annual checkup

I have been a patient of Dr. Kim since 2008. He is a very good doctor and has helped through many tough times in my life. I do have a complaint about an employee of his who is a relative of (Dr Kim). He has on several occasions been very rude and obnoxious on the phone. I have complained about him to Dr Kim and apparently nothing is being done. I called this morning regarding a refill. He was very rude and unresponsive while I was speaking to him. I had to ask three him times if Dr was there before I got an answer. I asked him who I was speaking with numerous times before he identified himself. I don't think this person should be dealing with patients with his very unprofessional attitude. He made my experience when calling
and visiting his office a stressful experience on more than one occasion.

I came to Florida from NY in 2013 where I was a patient of my PC for 32 years and loved them. Found Dr Kim through GHI when many drs. wouldn’t accept it down here because they didn’t pay enough. I’ve now been with him 11 years. I absolutely love him & his office staff, which are Fantastic! Dr Kim has seen me through some traumatic times & always LISTENS. which is a gift so few doctors grant you. He has sent me to the best specialists and surgeons that have been wonderful. He’s a little tough to crack but once you visit him a few times, he talks & listens and jokes and laughs and makes you feel like you’re the only person in his practice. He’s absolutely wonderful! As long as I live here, he’ll be my doctor as well as others I’ve sent his way who love him also! I thank my lucky stars I found him.

Dr. Kim has been my D.O. for about six years. Even before I ever visited the office, I had read reviews both good and bad, so I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of what to expect. Looking back over six years of healthcare with Dr. Kim I can say that I've made the right choice. Dr. Kim does not waste time with overt pleasantries and he doesn't sugar-coat his health advice. I've not always been happy to hear what Dr. Kim says but I've always been healthier by taking on his advice and following the health practices he recommends. I completely understand that some people are looking for a different type of healthcare experience and Dr. Kim won't appeal to everyone. With that said, if you like straight talk that's well-reasoned, diligent, and direct, then in my opinion you don't get much better than Dr. Kim.

The staff in the front are rude and don’t know what is going on, I had an appointment made weeks before I arrived there, even called in ahead of time to confirm it, after sitting there for two hours watching people go to the back that came in after me, I asked the lady behind the front desk and she informed me those people had appointments and I didn’t have one, I had to argue with her that I did have an appointment for 10 minutes, she just basically ignored me, I ended calling the office number and the lady who answered in the back confirmed I did have an appointment, the front desk lady still was not budging on getting me seen as I should have been since I had an appointment, so I ended up leaving don’t have time to deal with unorganized and unprofessional people just to get a referral.

My husband and I have been in Dr. Kim's care for over 10 years and are pleased with him and his staff. My husband had many issues and Dr. Kim work with him to improve his health. However, my husband informed the doctor right from the beginning he did not want to be micro managed. Dr. Kim would give his advice to my husband as to what he should do to stay healthy. My husband found Dr. Kim professional, compassionate about his issues, and fully understood his wishes. When my husband passed Dr. Kim and his staff were there for me. Dr. Kim is still my doctor and I have recommend friends to him. Thanks Dr. Kim for keeping me healthy. Claudette C.
