Customer Service: I was there today (December 26) around 1.30 PM. I checked in with a day Cave Pass. While checking in I was not aware that this facility also provided lock and towels with additional $4 /each. Anyway, I went downstairs and while changing I realized I didn't bring my locker. Therefore, I went downstairs to request the check in person for a lock with a key. That lady was so rude to me and asked me to go back to the line for an additional request which I have paid for. Anyway, I went back to the line and was very disappointed with the way she talked to me. While waiting at the line again, I saw another customer come from downstairs and requested for a towel and she gave it to her . Then I lost it and complained to the other representative that was working with her. This is extremely rude. The employee who did that to me was a brown girl with curly hair. Not sure whether she is racist or just a rude person but I am definitely not going back to get this sort of treatment.

Cost : For cave passes $40 seems pretty high. It is not worth the money.

Highly do not recommend this place ?

I have always loved this Hot Springs and have been coming here since I was about 10 years old. However staff has recently stopped caring about their customers needs unfortunately. They used to take great care of people. I scheduled a private bath a few times now. Great experience. However there was one really cool bath I always wanted to try. So I booked it. Bath number 5 is what I booked. When I showed up they even said “It looks like you’re in number 5 take a seat and wait while we check everything in.” So I waited. Then they hand me the key for bath 4….. Which is in my opinion the smallest bath they have. Bath 5 was right next to me and completely empty. They had not prepared the correct bath and decided to stick me where they could. As this was my first time bringing my boyfriend with me I wanted a bigger bath. I’m very disappointed the staff didn’t seem to care they messed up my reservation even after mentioning it to them. Very very disappointed.

Really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time here, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I had a really pleasant time.

We booked a day for the women's cave, and at the last minute, we had a person in our group unable to join us. We let them know at check-in, and they were kind enough to refund me for that ticket, which we really appreciated.

All and all, it was really nice. Water temps were nice and hot. You can buy locks for the lockers for $4. We brought our own towels as well. Definitely bring water to stay hydrated!

LGBTQ+ Friendly so that's always a plus.

The staff is outstanding. Easily checked in and out. Breakfast was coffee an muffins, A little bit more could be offered. We had an absolutely relaxing time. Serenity would best describe the atmosphere. Most of all we had a great time together as friends. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys historical sites or hot springs. ?

Ever taken an totally upset scenic drive into the mountains? If you end up at Indian Hot Springs, you’ll calm right down.
I was super stressed out and I made my way up to this marvelous place. The staff, the music, the caves, the people… just amazing. Don’t send that angry email. Don’t slam that door. Don’t give the idiot who cut you off the middle finger. Drop everything and get up there in the caves and just let it all melt away. ❤️

This “hot spring” was a huge disappointment. The pool is absolutely disgusting and over crowded. The pictures are a SCAM. The top window dome over the pool is rusted and yellow. It’s clear they’ve used AI to enhance the photos on their website. Locker rooms are tiny and dark (unclean) there are three tiny showers per gender room, with no doors. they told us they’d do a headcount to make sure it doesn’t get over crowded, however, when I counted it was at least 50. Mind you, kids were present splashing and peeing everywhere. It was not the relaxing experience you might expect. This was during a weekend.
4 stars for the service because I was refunded.

Sad to leave a review for a place we’ve loved going to and went to multiple times a year. Our cabin had extensive cleanliness issues as well as a strong cigarette odor and we were told we were too late in telling staff to receive any assistance and that she was a front desk worker, and not a housekeeper so could not assist me in any way, nore was willing to discuss our issues with the cabin. We had reserved a cabin for three days totaling to over $1000 so expected much better treatment than we received, even after giving some grace for a very busy holiday weekend.

Dishes were left very dirty with old food and plates in the refrigerator. The management on site told us guests are responsible for this and they guess someone just didn’t do a good job. We have yet to reach any agreement with the resort. We decided to be patient and make the best out of the lack of concern from staff, however that was later thrown in our face as a reason for them to claim zero accountability or responsibility for any situation we had.

We spent our first night cleaning and airing out the cabin so that we could enjoy our stay, and the second night we were informed that we couldn’t opt out of a “state mandated” routine cabin cleaning and check despite us only being at the resort for 48 hours. We had plans for the morning and afternoon so simply wanted to opt out of the cleaning as we had personal belongings and work documents in the room that we wanted to keep locked and safe, especially after signing a non liability waiver against theft. Their solution was for us to wait for the 10-3pm cleaning window so they could enter, or leave the resort. Which is very ironic considering that we had cleaned our own area, due to being fully aware that the resort was 100% booked for the holiday and chances of getting moved to an alternate cabin were not possible as there were only four on site which were all clearly occupied, including the one we rented and needed assistance. After being informed that the routine cleaning would not include towels, linens, or kitchen cleaning unless requested, we were confused about how necessary this even was, and were told it was non negotiable.

Later in the afternoon, before we were demanded to hand our keys in and leave, the older lady in the office that we have checked in with for years told us that this cleaning can and should have been offered to be skipped so that we could enjoy our time at the caves and Idaho springs during the day. Due to the cleaning not being cancelable, we had to skip our morning breakfast plans after paying for parking and spent the afternoon being forced to leave rather than enjoying the caves and the private baths that we had booked.

We had let the general manager know that we would leave a day early on our three day trip IF it would help us get a refund and/or assistance. Rather than helping us out, she took this as an offer for us to just leave, which we never stated that we were willing to do. We stated that we would check out if it helped us get refunded for a disappointing experience, but not that we would leave immediately. Their solution was asking us to leave within two hours for a refund only for the night we would be leaving anyway. We were left with a pretty pricy New Year’s Eve room in Blackhawk due to them selling our last night from under our feet prior to us confirming our early departure.

I would definitely advise against staying at the resort as the staff showed zero care for their guests during the holiday weekend. We expected crowds and waits but we did not expect the staff to be so burned out with customers to not offer anything near the experience that we have had in the last four years. We witnessed multiple families and individuals get charged for cave/pool use then only after paying, we’re told the amenities were at capacity and to try again hours later. A disappointing experience, and owning businesses in the service industry, it is shocking to watch management handle situations the way they did this weekend with no regard for their customers financial outlay
