Sacred Rain just completed this beautiful new mural on their building and while it is gorgeous - what's really special about this place is what's inside. They have a stunning sanctuary with co-ed clothing optional space appointed with immaculate showers and locker facilities and an outdoor space with dry sauna, outdoor cooling showers and in-ground hot tub.

For those sunny days there are deck chairs and chaise loungers where you can soak in the sun, read your favorite book or connect with friends, family and other guests. It's a contemplative space where you can escape from the world and relax, recharge and feel revitalized.

All are welcome in this non-sexualized space. It not just feels safe it is safe. Those brothers and sisters of mine that are queer and trans are always welcome. The are many open-minded allies that always are kind, supportive and accepting.

I have taken advantage of classes - they have a great meditation class it the inside upstairs community space. I have see many of the massage therapists and while Renatta and Eric are my personal faves...you cannot get a bad massage here.

Open. Discreet. Friendly. Loving. When in Ballard (visiting or outside the area) or if you are local this is a special place and it, indeed, feels sacred. Which is they Sacred Rain is such an inspired name for this amazing space and the services they provide!

I've visited on 3 separate occasions and every time the facilities were clean, employees were active and I felt safe; and not prejudiced.

The population is generally balanced among genders and I've not witnessed any irregular behavior.

The Sauna is well maintained and clean. The hot tub is well maintained and clean. Despite the hot tub sitting under shrubs and trees there isn't any foliage floating around. You can tell the owner cares about the appearance of his facilities and the reputation for cleanliness and safety.

My first visit here a couple months ago I received a massage from John and it was fabulous. I'm a massage therapist myself and I'd recommend a massage from him.

I do wish though there were more chaise loungers on the deck. Other than that 10/10 facilities and the friendliest people!

The other reviews are right, HORRIBLE customer service both from the front desk staff and the manager. They're so busy "priding" themselves, they can't see what's right in front of them- customers they're putting off left and right. Just because you "pride" yourself on something doesn't mean it's true! In fact, it means you're not listening to people. Truly condescending and aloof to me and my guests and we gave them multiple chances. They get especially cold if you seem excited or exuberant at all, so make sure you're totally deadpan and drained of all life when you approach. Do NOT go for any kind of celebration, the looks and awkward convo from the staff will wither happiness immediately. We were absoutely not loud or raucous, not asked to leave, just...bummer type people running the place. Great example of putting the wrong people in the front end of your business. Time for a purge!

This is co-ed but just to say it was all male patrons when I went. Being the only woman was uncomfortable so I left after the hour. The sauna is small. Glad guys have a place to unwind - we all need it! I might just stick to the Ladies Room up in Greenwood.

Very nice facility with Spa. Clothing is optional means Co-Ed without clothes. Kind of made me a little uncomfortable (not much I could get use it to it) but if that’s what you like it’s a good fit. My only thing is that I wanted some peace and quiet and the hot tub had a women in it that simply would not shut up and a guy showing himself off talking with her. So it ruined the experience for me.

Always love this place. Great for relaxing and winding down after a long day or a long week. The hydrotherapy tub is great! I wish they had a cold plunge tub instead of the showers or cup, but that's my only complaint. The sauna usually get packed, but when you have a few people, it's really nice. I recommend coming before high peek times, which ar typically after work hours.

My oasis in the heart of the city. A great place to get your clothes off, unwind and either soak in the jetted jacuzzi, sweat it out in the sauna, or lay out on one of the many deck chairs, taking in the rays. Even on cold rainy/snowy days, being able to sit in some heat is a pure joy. The staff and other members who attend regularly are all incredibly open and kind, creating a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I hope to visit this place for many years to come.

Had a very nice visit this evening. Staff was kind and helpful, and the facilities are a good size and very clean. Folks were definitely a lot chattier and louder than I expected, which cut into how relaxing it was otherwise. But overall very nice experience and I will be returning.
